In this world, everyone gains their powers at 18, but 25-year-old Jen, played by Máiréad Tyers, still hasn’t discovered hers. Feeling left out and frustrated, she relies on her friend Carrie (Sofia Oxenham), who can communicate with the dead, and her cat Jizzlord, as she navigates work and love as a non-powered Gen Zer. “Extraordinary” represents the carefree spirit of a generation, and the performances of Tyers and Oxenham are genuinely delightful.
