The fire, near Fryman Canyon Park, was reported at about 4 a.m. when firefighters were called to the 3000 block of North Oakdell Lane east of Fryman Road. Flames and smoke could be seen from nearby freeways.

One firefighter was taken to the hospital in fair condition, while a resident suffered minor smoke inhalation.

Details about the cause of the fire were not immediately available. The fire was extinguished just after 6:30 a.m. TMZ first reported that the house belongs to actress and model Delevingne, known for her roles in “American Horror Story,” “Only Murders in the Building,” and “Suicide Squad,” among others. The 4-bedroom, 6-bathroom home was featured in a June 2021 Architectural Digest video with Delevingne. TMZ reported that she was not home at the time of the fire.

Delevingne later expressed gratitude to firefighters in an Instagram post.

“Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all the firefighters and people that have showed up to help,” the post said.

The flames quickly spread, consuming a room and igniting a deep-seated attic fire, according to a statement from the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD). The intense heat compromised the structure, forcing firefighters to take a defensive approach, battling the flames from outside the house.

The battle raged for over two hours, requiring 94 firefighters to extinguish the blaze completely.

Aftermath and Injuries:

Thankfully, no residents were inside the home at the time of the fire. Unfortunately, one firefighter sustained a ladder-related injury and was transported to the hospital in fair condition.

In a later post, she expressed her gratitude to the firefighters, thanking them “from the bottom of my heart” and sharing a photo of her two cats with the caption, “They are alive! Thank you to the firefighters.”
