Federal agents conducted raids on the properties of rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs in Los Angeles and Miami as part of an ongoing sex trafficking investigation.

Homes belonging to music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs in Los Angeles, New York, and Miami were raided by federal agents on Monday. This comes just one month after Combs was sued for sex trafficking, among other serious accusations.

“The raids were conducted as part of an ongoing investigation,” a representative for Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) said in a statement. They added they would share more information as it becomes available.

The raids follow a lawsuit filed last month by music producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, who accused Combs of harassing and trafficking him. This is the fifth lawsuit filed against Combs since November. His former partner, Casandra Ventura (known professionally as Cassie), also sued him for sexual assault in November.

“We fully support law enforcement’s efforts to hold those who break the law accountable,” said Douglas Wigdor, Ventura’s lawyer, in a statement on Monday. “Hopefully, this is the start of a process that will make Mr. Combs answer for his harmful actions.”

Ventura previously reached a settlement with Combs after accusing him of raping and abusing her for nearly ten years. Combs’ lawyer, Benjamin Brafman, clarified at the time that the settlement was “not an admission of wrongdoing” on Combs’ part.

Other lawsuits against Combs include accusations from a woman who was underage at the time of the alleged assault and claims that Combs forced Jones to find sex workers for him. Multiple lawsuits also allege Combs drugged his victims. One lawsuit even claims he choked a woman unconscious and then told her not to report it.

Combs has consistently denied all accusations. “I did not do any of the awful things they’re saying I did,” he stated in December.

Combs’ lawyer, Shawn Holley, called Jones’ claims of assault and trafficking “completely made up” in a statement this February.

Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) executed the raids in the Holmby Hills area of Los Angeles and at a Miami home owned by Diddy. The raids were part of an investigation into sex trafficking, led by the Southern District of New York. Law enforcement sources revealed that the primary goal was to seize Diddy’s phones and computers before a planned trip out of the country. Further raids on houses associated with the mogul in New York and Chicago are anticipated.

The Miami home is owned by a division of Diddy’s record company, Bad Boy Entertainment, and one of his daughters. At least four Jane Doe and New York prosecutors have interviewed one John Doe in connection with sex trafficking allegations and a RICO case.
