The beloved DreamWorks animated movie “How to Train Your Dragon” is set to soar into live-action territory, and fans eagerly await its release. Directed by Dean DeBlois, who also helmed the original 2010 animated film, this adaptation promises to bring the magical world of dragons and Vikings to life.

Following the recent wave of live-action remakes of animated Disney projects — some of which, like Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin, have grossed over $1 billion at the global box office — Universal is producing the very first live-action remake of a DreamWorks animated movie. Dean DeBlois, who directed the original 2010 How to Train Your Dragon, will head the live-action remake.
