In her heartfelt message, Obama acknowledged the impact of “Cowboy Carter”, also known as Act II of Beyoncé’s Renaissance album. She praised Beyoncé for redefining a music genre and transforming culture. The album cover features Beyoncé sitting on a white horse, holding the American flag—a powerful image that resonates with themes of strength and identity.

The former First Lady encouraged her supporters to use their voices and vote in upcoming elections. Referencing one of the album’s tracks, “Ya Ya,” Obama emphasized the importance of participating in the democratic process. She reminded everyone that issues like equal pay, racial justice, reproductive healthcare, and climate change are on the ballot, urging them to make their voices heard.

This isn’t the first time Michelle Obama has supported the superstar. In June 2022, she tweeted her excitement for one of Beyoncé’s projects, declaring, “Queen @Beyonce, you’ve done it again!”
“Queen @Beyonce, you’ve done it again! ‘Break My Soul’ is the song we all need right now, and I can’t help but dance and sing along while listening to it. Can’t wait for the album!” Obama tweeted.
“Break My Soul” is the first single Beyoncé released in two years, after “Black Parade” was dropped in 2020 for Juneteenth.
The single has received ample praise on social media. The full album, “Renaissance,” will not be available until July 29 next month.
