Downey, Jr. playfully mentioned his publicist and entertainment lawyer, Tom Hansen, who spent years trying to get him insured and bailing him out of the hoosegow.
Interestingly, Downey, Jr. is the first former Saturday Night Live cast member to win an Oscar for acting. His portrayal of seedy government official Lewis Strauss in “Oppenheimer” finally secured him the coveted award.
