Travis Kelce to Host Kelce Jam Join Taylor Swift on Tour
Travis Kelce, the star Kansas City Chiefs tight end, is making waves on and off the football field. Not only did he secure his second consecutive Super Bowl victory, but he’s also venturing into the music scene.
Travis Kelce, a Kansas City Chiefs football team star player, recently confirmed that he’ll join his girlfriend, the famous singer Taylor Swift, on her summer European tour. But before he jets off, Kelce will be hosting his music festival!
This year marks the second annual “Kelce Jam” music festival at the Azura Amphitheater in Kansas City on May 18th. While Taylor won’t be performing (she has shows in Stockholm that weekend), the festival will feature big names like rappers 2 Chainz, Lil Wayne, and musician Diplo. There will also be lots of food vendors to enjoy. Even with rainy weather, last year’s festival was a hit, drawing around 20,000 people.
This event comes just a few months after Kelce and his team, the Chiefs, won the Super Bowl for the second year in a row! “I’m excited to celebrate this win one last time with everyone in Kansas City,” Kelce told reporters.
Even though Taylor won’t be at the festival, her influence is clear. “Learning about music from her has been a lot of fun,” Kelce said. “She’s incredible at what she does. It’s interesting to see where she finds inspiration for her music and how she listens to it. It’s been a learning experience for me.”

It seems Kelce is also a big fan of Taylor’s music. A video posted online by a former basketball player showed Kelce golfing with friends. When someone played Taylor’s song “Bad Blood” to distract him before a swing, it didn’t work! Kelce calmly hit the ball, then pretended to play air guitar to the song.
Kelce hasn’t revealed exactly which of Taylor’s European shows he’ll attend, but he might try to catch some of her eight sold-out shows at Wembley Stadium in London. Interestingly, Kelce also played a football game at that same stadium back in 2015. “It’s amazing that she can sell out that giant stadium eight times in a row,” Kelce said. “I played there once and it wasn’t even close to full.”
Kelce and Taylor have been enjoying time together before their busy summers begin. They recently vacationed in the Bahamas, and Taylor is about to release a new album called “The Tortured Poets Department” on April 19th.
